A Happy Treat

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. Mine was great! I spent the entire day playing with my sister Leslie--she got to spend the weekend with me! Woo hoo! Shes been cooped up in her apartment (in between regular visits to the hospital to check her levels).  But she came to our house on Friday, and she got to stay until today.

We
ve had a fabulous time today. We stayed in PJs all day and played in my stamp studio.

I spent some of my time working on the Halloween album I started a few weeks ago for Shannas Happy Halloween Homecoming party. I thought my Halloween treat for you would be to show you a few of the pages.

Just an FYI: The inspiration for these pages came from the Advent calendar featured as our art show project in the October 2009 Stampin’ Success.

Enjoy!

Your Halloween weekend with Leslie sounds like the BEST treat out there!! So happy that she got to spend it with you.
Great start on your album! It's a very fun way to use those papers & embellishments. Thanks for sharing with us.

Hello Shelli,

I've followed your blog since you started it, but have never commented because I'm sure you are swamped with them! But, I have to say today thank you for your efforts! It is so fun to get to know you and your family and the Stampin' Up family a little, since the only time I see you in real life is at Convention & other SU events. Which is good, but this makes it even funner being a demonstrator! I always comment to my customers and downline on the genuine-ness (is that a word?) of you and all the SU staff -- I love that you are who you are 24-7, and it truly shows on your blog. Plus I love that you include so much about the church! What a great missionary you are. So thank you for your time sharing with us. And I know I agree with so many that we are happy that Shanna had a fulfilling mission, but that she is home at last. Enjoy the holidays, and thanks again for all you do.

Dear Shelli,
Thank you for sharing your projects! It always gives me inspiration. I love that you care about your demos enough to do this for us. The advent calendar is great! I used a lot of the ideas from each section to create other small projects. I hope that we will continue to see projects like this, because they have so many applications!
So glad Leslie has a chance to escape and do "normal" things once in a while! I continue to pray for her recovery and for her wonderful family as they care for her!
Blessings,
Kim

How much fun for you! I love the Halloween paper for the MDS. I down loaded it the other day,pre-did some pages in our Family Album I've been making so after we got home taking our 3 kiddos out trick-or-treating, I just had to put the pictures on the pages!

I just loved your Halloween pages. The pictures are a riot. The guy with the blackened face and the goggles with his hair like its been in a windstorm is hysterical. All the costumes are neat...and I love the Blues Brothers!

Ah! So I'm not the only one that wanted to recreate the halloween Advent Calendar images! I absolutely loved that--I'm "filling" each day with a photo of my kids on Halloween through the years so it's a hanging scrapbook. Now I'm making one for Christmas--you can do the same thing and just use 4 instead of 5 background sheets. Thanks for sharing,
B
