Macaroons Update

From the cruise ship: I just want to quickly note that I got an e-mail from Kathy letting me know the salt was wrong in the macaroons recipe (1/4 teaspoon instead of 1/2 teaspoon), and she also told me how big the bag of coconut was (14 ounces). I will correct the original recipe but wanted to let those of you who have already read it know about the correction.

Now I'm off to spend time thanking and honoring our cruise achievers. I'll post more when we get back. Have a wonderful week!

I whipped these babies up in no time today and I can see why you liked them so much!
I was extra naughty and melted some Ghirardelli chocolate chips and drizzle that on the tops. I better get back to my "non-fat" Chocolate Chip cardstock and ink pad *Ü*

Thanks, Shelli, for the corrections and thank you, Kathy, for the recipe. I'm planning on making these, this weekend. Tracy, I LOVE your idea of drizzled chocolate on top. YUM!

Shelli, I wish I was on cruise with you this week, and with my 3 other girls who earned it. One of my fondest memories ever was the day you had lunch with...although if I remember it correctly, Eric and I ate lunch and you had an icecream cone. That's one reason why I love you so much!
Travel safe!
Love,
Ronda

Shelli I stumbled on your site by accident as I am a Mum from the Gold Coast, Queensland and saw a link on my friend Angie Brown's site. Well your macaroons were a gift from heaven today as we are having people over for a BBQ and I whipped them up in no time flat for sweeties to have with coffee! Thanks so much - I am also a Stampin' Up addict! But a real novice.

I made these as soon as I read the recipe and they were awesome! I think my husband ate 3/4 of them before the day was even over!!
