G'Day Mate

I’m in Australia for convention. Wanted to write more before we got started here, but there’s just been a lot going on and I haven’t even had a minute to gather my thoughts. I’ll report after convention. . . . .

Hope you have fun Shelli! I was unable to make it this year, but have had constant updates from some wonderful friends who are there! I even had momento mall shopping done for me - am stoked to have gotten a card tree!!!

My first convention (I only joined in Feb) and it's been great so far. Thanks for all the effort put in. Very inspiring.

We should have a twitter stream and #tag for the convention though. I'll have to set it up for next year :-)

Ohhhh and live waving (Google wave) as stuff happens so other demos (who don't make it) can enjoy.

It's my first convention and I'm having a ball! You said today to give feedback - my main suggestion would to ALWAYS bring Bonnie - she's so much fun! And we really appreciate that she's working hard on presenting for us, even when she doesn't have a voice!! Give that woman some licorice, she deserves it! :)

It is fantastic being at convention with you and everyone else. I agree you must never leave Bonnie at home, I will supply her buttermentol's anytime to help her through. You can not leave Shannon home either. To tell you the truth no one can stay home, we love you all. Looking forward to tomorrow's workshops. :-)

Shelli,
I just found your blog, and wanted to let you know how much I really enjoy it. Your projects are just perfect, they aren't so crazy in-depth works of art that intimidate someone out of attempting to do something similar. They are all *just right*.

Your positive personality makes me want to just go out and share my enthusiasms with the world. Thank you Shelli!

I'd love a vacation right now! Doe it feel like one to you though since it is work, even though fun work? And after all of the other traveling?

I hope you enjoy convention as much as we do here in the US. I was fortunate to travel to Sydney once and can't wait to get back and see more of AU and NZ. It would be fun if we could host guests from other markets at our conventions...think of the fun and ideas we could share! -Amy

Shelli, I was thinking that you are due a vacation soon. You have an amazing schedule. Please take time for yourself. We don't want you getting sick. Blessings to you!

There are days when it all seems like so long ago...workshops, travel, kids, run around like a crazy woman, more kids, cook, clean, take a minute for yourself, go again... But your blog makes it all come back quite vividly. Of course, then again, sometimes life still doesn't feel very different. I'm glad you have a real vacation coming up soon! xoxo

SO JEALOUS! Australia is my 2nd home. I was an exchange student at the age of 16, and later served my mission for the LDS church there. Love the country, love the people. Next time, please stick me in your pocket!! I hope you love it as much as I do.

Wow Shelli....what a whirlwind!! I have attended all conventions in Australia, but unfortunately think that Melbourne might just stretch me a little far - but I am excited for the others who will be able to make it. I HAVE to say thank you!! Thank you for yet another amazing experience and am thrilled it is getting a more relaxed Aussie feel (purposely or not LOL!!). I loved your key note speaker (naughty as she was LOL) and I loved the Fijian dancers....Sterling seemed to enjoy them too LOL.....so thank you all....I look forward to the next four (and many more) years I'll be a part of the SU! family

Thank you Shelli and of course, Sterling, and all of your fabulous Home Office team for another uplifting and invigorating Convention experience. I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend, learn, connect and recharge. I wish you all a safe trip home and look forward to seeing you again next year in Melbourne.

Thanks Shelli for such a wonderful Convention (my first). Your ability to be so professional and yet so much fun is amazing. A big congrats to all your team, they are so talented & wonderful to listen to (even poor Bonnie's voice). And I felt a lot better about my work when I see that even things can go wrong for the Stampin' Up! crew :)

Hi Shelli! A huge thank you to you, Sterling, and the Stampin' Up! team for Convention. This year was my first and just what I needed for some inspiration (well loads of inspiration actually!). The energy and passion of the SU home office team and our own Oz presenters is outstanding - thank you all! I've already contacted my downline who weren't able to make it to share the bounty of tips and tricks :-)

Thank you so much for keeping SU the wonderful company that it is. I have never doubted for a second that you will always put the demonstrator first. You are a fine example of a Christian woman to all of us. I LOVE my job and the company that I represent!
