Over Two Hundred

It’s been over a month since we offered to send a Book of Mormon, along with a hand stamped bookmark, to anyone who wished for and requested them, and I’m happy to report that over two hundred were sent out today.

Sterling and I had help making the bookmarks while we were in Kanab for Paul’s funeral. It was a wonderful evening of visiting, reminiscing, and laughing with family while we cut, counted, stamped and tied. So, for those of you who receive a bookmark, know they were made and signed with happy hearts and lots of love!

I'm not thrilled with the clear mount stamps. they don't seem to stick on the blocks no matter what I do. Have used two way glue and that seems to help, but overall not thrilled with them. I wish that you would do away with the clear mount and instead have more polymer stamps to offer. I love the polymer as they stick great on the blocks and are easier to see through making positioning much easier. Aside from the clear mount stamp issues, I love your products and love seeing new things that you introduce to your line. Keep up the good work. I enjoy making cards for family and friends and your products make the cards so beautiful. Thank you.

I also recieved my Book. I immediately read the the verses you indicated on the bookmark ..... A good place to start I think. Thank you both and the family for your generosity in sharing. I continue to follow your blog as you continue to achieve your long-held wish to serve.

How can the Mormon church claim that the Book of Mormon is the "fullness of the everlasting gospel" when so much important Mormon doctrine is missing from it?
Mormon church organization
the Aaronic priesthood
the "plurality of Gods" doctrine
the "God is an exalted man" doctrine
the doctrine of three degrees of glory, or three kingdoms
the "plurality of wives" doctrine
the "celestial marriage" doctrine with all the elaborate temple ceremonies and oaths
baptism for the dead
the "word of wisdom" doctrine
the doctrine of preexistence
the doctrine of eternal progression

Why do so many present-day Mormon beliefs contradict the Book of Mormon?
There is only one God - Mosiah 15:1-5; Alma 11:28-29; 2 Nephi 31:21
God is unchanging - Mormon 9:9,19; Moroni 8:18; Alma 41:8; 3 Nephi 24:6
God is a spirit - Alma 18:24-28; 22:9-11
The Holy Spirit - Dwells in man - Alma 18:35; Is God - Alma 18:28; Created all - Alma 22:9-11
Jesus Christ - Is God - 2 Nephi 10:3; Mosiah 13:34-35; 15:1-5; Was virgin born - Alma 7:10; Created all - 3 Nephi 9:15
God the Father - Redeemed man - Mosiah 13:32; Created all - Jacob 4:9
Polygamy condemned - Jacob 1:15; 2:23,24,27,31; 3:5 Mosiah 11:2,4; Ether 10:5,7

Are we to conclude that the Book of Mormon is wrong? Or is present-day Mormon leadership in error? Which is it?

Thank you so much for offering to send out The Book of Mormon to those who asked for one. I look forward to reading it. I am Lutheran, but always excited and open to learning different things. I appreciate your generosity.

On a Personal Note: So much has happened since joining Stampin' UP! in 2000, but it continues to be a blessing.

I am needing to take a step back from my business and go at a slow pace due to life.

We are reeling from the loss of two dear beloved and close family members that passed within 45 days of each other recently which was totally unexpected.

Sammy (11) and Billy (10), our darling beagle boyz were are children. Unconditional love everyday, along with kisses and hugs galore! We will 'adopt/rescue' again, but not for a year or two.

On a business note: I must share, I am losing sales, and possibly two new recruits after seeing the new catalog because there are less wood sets in the new catalog and more photopolymer ones.

But I may get one new recruit from our Project Life Line! : )

I hope this choice will turn out to be more financially sound for the company than a burden. Once photopolymer stamps get stained it's hard to read the words when stamping.

I did not have great sales from the Holiday Catalog because most of the Holiday Stamp Sets were photopolymer. Just sharing. I do understand, and do like them sometimes but not with words...

For word sets, you mount them once perfectly and any word can be used. If the set is Photopolymer, they may not be straight, fall off and stain. I'm not complaining just trying to share what I'm facing in my business.

I did share how they could stamp in Pink Pirouette first, so they would stain the stamp in a light pink, but that is kind of crazy to keep up with.

Okay, I'm sorry this is way to long : )

Much love and admiration to both you and Sterling,

God Bless...

.

Shelli,

Today my book arrived in the mail. I really appreciate you sharing with us. I read the scripture you highlighted - and then kept on reading. What a gift you have given!

Thank you!
