TV Spot

On Tuesday I appeared on "Studio 5," a morning talk show on KSL, our local NBC affiliate. I loved the projects I showed-beautiful table settings for three different holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's), all made from one package of our new Ski Slope Designer Series paper, along with a variety of different accessories.

I planned on providing the link for you on Tuesday but was on the run from morning ‘til night and completely forgot until now.

Here's the link: http://studio5.ksl.com/?nid=61&sid=4573672. If link doesn't launch automatically, copy and paste it into your browser.)

You can watch the appearance itself, as well as see the projects. We also provided supply lists and basic instructions for each of the table settings.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks so much Shelli for sharing this link with us. These projects are wonderful and I've started making them to show off at my next stamp club next week. Is there any chance you could post clearer pictures for us demos on SU's website for us? We never got a close up of the Thanksgiving table setting. You also did a great job, you seemed so relaxed and I loved your comment about buying a Big Shot! Thanks for all you do!

Wow, thanks for showing us all these ideas. I am going to do one of the place settings at my next workshop. Lots of versatility with the big shot and dies! Just love them all!
Thanks for sharing with us!

Hi Shelli. Thanks!!!! It is fantastic to get more ideas. Posting this link allows me to view them too, especially all the way down in Australia. I can adapt this to show my customers and friends. THANK YOU

WOW! I was wondering if you could put the thickness of the acetate on your blog. The clear box is to die for, but the acetate I used was not working at all.

It's a good life!

FYI....I email DS for information on the acetate.
I asked where it was purchased and/or a brand name and thickness.
They responded and said they could not tell me where it was purchased or the brand name but could tell me that it was 20 millimeter.
I purchased 10 millimeter (which was the highest thickness they had) from an art supply house and used the dye cut and big shot with it and it broke on the sides when scored and I tried to fold it.I emailed DS back to verify the thickness since I felt that this was already too thick and they said it was 20 millimeter and suggested that I get a lower thickness than 10 mil. since that did not work for me. This comes in large sheets and they do have sheets that are less thick and they range in price from anywhere to $4.25 to $8.75 for higher thickness. Maybe I am using the wrong thing and should be using something else. Maybe someplace else sells acetate paper that is in smaller sheets. I have looked but have not had any luck yet.
If anyone else has any idea I would love to have any help.

Shelli, I don't mind if you speak about religion. We need more of that in todays world.

Love, love, love the TV segment! I do have two questions however. 1)Can you give a resource for the heavy weight acetate? 2)Can you post photos of the place settings on your blog? It is difficult to see the details on the TV station's resource page.

This is quite late on the subject of religion, but..... Your frequent mention of faith, love, hope, and all the other aspects of religion that you you do mention, are a big part of why I am a demonstrator. Even though my religion (Catholic) is quite different in beliefs, we pray, and have faith in the same God. As far as I am concerned, you can talk religion ANY TIME you want!!!!
