Off for the Weekend

I'm off to a family reunion in southern Utah and will probably be out of Internet range, cell range--any range that includes anything but relaxing! This is one of my favorite reunions because it usually happens shortly after convention, and I'm ready to just veg (is that a word?--you know what I mean) and visit.

So I don't feel quite so guilty, join me this weekend in a few moments of rest and relaxation doing something you love, like sitting on the back porch listening to the birds chirp, or taking a stroll in the warm summer breeze (some of you might have to take that stroll late at night when it's not quite so warm!), or maybe even stamp something just for fun--not for a workshop or other event--but because you're inspired by something or someone and want to create!

We'll talk the first of the week.

I am writing to express my extreme unhappiness with the way this has all been handled. I finally did receive the catalogs I ordered through Great Rewards on Friday, 8-8-08. It appears I am one of the fortunate ones. A fellow demonstrator has not received either her Great Rewards box, or her complimentary catalog. This is a BIG problem, one that you should be addressing. I understand that convention goers get to see the catalog first. But we are all selling your product, but it is quite difficult to sell something when you do not even have the main selling tool.

This is not the first time this has happened, but there has not been one word from SU regarding this problem. I know you are all busy, but something needs to be said and done!

I also have a small beef with the discount given to convention goers. I realize there are many perks to convention, but a discount should be given to all demos across the board. We are all selling for the same company, and should be treated EQUALLY!

I am sure I will not receive an answer any time soon, but I wanted my voice to be heard. It is hard to believe we are not "just hobby" demonstrators when we are not treated equally. This may not be the proper forum, but I want you to know how I feel. I did e-mail demo support too.
