Off for the Weekend
I'm off to a family reunion in southern Utah and will probably be out of Internet range, cell range--any range that includes anything but relaxing! This is one of my favorite reunions because it usually happens shortly after convention, and I'm ready to just veg (is that a word?--you know what I mean) and visit.
So I don't feel quite so guilty, join me this weekend in a few moments of rest and relaxation doing something you love, like sitting on the back porch listening to the birds chirp, or taking a stroll in the warm summer breeze (some of you might have to take that stroll late at night when it's not quite so warm!), or maybe even stamp something just for fun--not for a workshop or other event--but because you're inspired by something or someone and want to create!
We'll talk the first of the week.

Have a great rest and weekend with your family. You know you'll be very busy when you get back with the new catty and all. lol`
Enjoy your weekend. I went to visit my sister in Western NY last month and it was so relaxing and restful. I haven't heard such quiet in a long time. I am ready to go back except next time I will be doing a workshop for her friends and in-laws. Woo Hoo.
Blessings,
Karen
After all the work you and your family did during convention week you deserve a great getaway.

I hope you have a blast on your time away! I am going to be counting down the days until I can come to convention! My darling sweet husband told me this year when he saw the SU! Stampin Success that he wouldn't mind taking time off work to stay home with the kids (ages 5, 3, and 2 by then) while I go to convention...so for now it's time to save and dream about it! I can't wait! I have been with SU! for a little over 4 years and am still in LOVE! The coolest thing about SU! is that it got started the year I moved to the States from Portugual, so we are both celebrating our 20 year anniversary this year!
Have fun and thanks again for this awesome blog!!!
I will spend time this weekend sitting in my backyard (in Canberra, Australia) smelling the scent of the freshly blooming ornamental plum tree blossoms and tending to my cauliflowers, broccoli and strawberries.
All the best,
Sam.
Have fun on the relaxing retreat! I have my open house this weekend, so not much rest, but a ton of stamping fun with my new Sizzix and convention sets!!

I can so identify with you. Family is so important. I get so inspired by Stampin-Up. You have a beautiful family and I love your family portrait. Have fun and veg all you want to. Take care...
Take care!
You may not post EACH day, but I am sure we will appreciate it when you DO!
HUGE HOOSIER HUGS FROM HERE,

I know that all the hard work and dedication will pay off. I am super-charged as I have been sleeping since I got home but did manage to get in a workshop and my friends saw how excited I was to share our new NEWS and products and catalog with them. I have a workshop and open house scheduled for next week but for this weekend I will take your advise and chill and visit my lovely grandchildren and spend time with my family.
Thanks for making convention so exciting!
Love you
Debi Pippin
Hope you enjoy listening to the birds while you "veg. My husband says I have my spark back in my eyes when I got back from convention! If he only knew that it's from getting ready to spend more money on new products!!!I received my catalogs yesterday and a friend and I are going to "veg" for the weekend looking at it.

Enjoy your 'vegging' and I think I'll try to work in some veg time as well!
Have a WONDERFUL weekend with your beautiful family! We all need that time to just "veg" and feel refreshed. Don't forget to take the time to spend some time alone with God! I know how important that is! It is so important! I know that I will try to remember to do that as well. We will be going to a fun event called Autism Day. A place were my son and our family and have a day of fun without being concerned with what our kids will do! I will also try and tell some people I meet about how Stampin' Up! has given me an great "get away" from the daily grind of caring for a child with special needs. Stampin' Up! is definately my time to relax, so I want to share that with others. Have a wonderful relaxing weekend, Shelli, you definately deserve it! HAVE FUN!!!
