A Leftover Gift Idea

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that my stamping presentation for convention this year focused on gift giving ideas. I absolutely loved it!

I spent hours, along with Mom Pat and Sara and Shalae, creating in my stamp studio, and we fed on each other’s enthusiasm. By the time convention rolled around, I had way more projects than I could ever show on stage, so we ended up picking and choosing.

I can’t bear to not share some of these projects, though, so I thought I’d share one with you while I'm in Australia. (I’m afraid I’d bore you if I showed them all!)

I actually arranged for this to be posted while I was gone, so there would be at least a little activity on the blog while I was Down Under rewarding and recognizing our high-achievers in Australia and New Zealand. I'll be back on Monday and be excited to share a little about how that event went.

But for now, here's a fun little treat box for a friend. We packed it with some of our favorite chocolates--Ghiradelli! But you can load it with any treat at all!

I love that! I love how you used the curly label punch on the box opening. Adding a little punch there sure makes opening the box easier, and it's so pretty! Can't wait to see more, and we could never get bored!!!

Shelli, one thing you can never be thought of is boring! Your are truly more inspiring, more creative and more sharing than any other person I have been blessed to meet. I am truly thankful I was finally able to attend my first convention this year and more so to meet you personally (and have you sign my BAB's paw and ear tag). I can say in all sincerity that meeting you, attending convention and being chosen to be a make & take helper has re-energized me personally and I hope professionally as well.
I have been sharing my enthusiasm with everyone I talk to and they are inspired and excited too. Most of all my girls (Trinity-8 and Ashley-6) have decided that they need to attend convention next year as well, to meet you and have you sign their bears paw's as well (regret not standing in line on Saturday to have you do that) so that their bears can be as special as Mommy's.
My husband would not want me telling you this, but even he goes into my craft room to make me cards for all occasions using my stamps, paper and embellishments.
Thank you so very much for all you do, all you give and the opportunity you provide. You have forever touched my heart and changed my life and the life of my family.

I love this cute little box. In your opinion, what is the best box die to purchase for someone like me who is in the beginning stages of building a die collection?
