The Color Renovation

Sara and I are in Frankenmuth, Michigan, today for the next Workshop of a Lifetime. As you know, my life for the past few weeks has been full of mostly workshops and wedding plans, but yesterday I had something else on my mind.
We arrived yesterday, a little earlier in the day because we had to be checked into the hotel and hooked up to the Internet by 4 p.m. (MT) for an exciting webinar we had with our leaders (managers and above). I’ve never done a webinar quite like this one—we had four people participating, and all four of us were calling in from different locations! I was a little nervous, but it went off pretty well considering it involves technology...gotta love it and hate it at the same time!
I’m hoping that the announcement is met with as much enthusiasm as I feel! We announced what we’re calling a “Color Renovation,” which is an update of our color line. We’re adding a few colors, bringing back a few In Colors, and bidding farewell to some of our existing colors. While I will admit that I’ll be missing a few of the “retiring” colors, I am already in love with so many of the new ones!
We’ll still be color-coordinating our products (and offering even more color coordination than before, actually), but our colors are organized into four different collections instead of families. Every time I look at our new color line, I smile—it has such a fresh, vibrant feel! If you’re a demonstrator, you’ll find all the details on our Demonstrator Web Site; if you’re one of our customers, your demonstrator can tell you what it’s all about!
Now I’m off to today’s workshop with Jodi. . . more on that later!

Enjoy Saturday and take lots of pictures, with a camera obviously but even more with your heart, you must be so very proud.
See you at Convention!

Like most of you, I cannot afford to invest in a bunch of new pads, paper, markers and the like so I plan to ask every person I talk to if they have an interest in becoming a demo so I can receive the incentive packages. Otherwise I hope to make enough to buy it all with the "retired colors sale" I'll be having this summer, heeheehee.
With the exception of Pacific Point, I am in love with the new colors and the new In Color rotation schedule. There are only 2 or 3 retiring colors that I will keep, all the others are going.
Every company needs to revamp on occasion and stay fresh. I am SO GLAD that SU did this!
I keep telling people this isn't something SU is doing "to" us...these are things that are done FOR all of us, to keep our product offering fresh and exciting. Like many others, I will have to add a bit here and there rather than all at once, but I'm not bothered by that. There are plenty of ways to demo the new colors. Enjoy the rest of your workshop tour!

Thanks for everything you do to make Stampin' Up a stable, vibrant company that is a joy to represent.
I'm excited about the changes and try to keep a positive outlook And in the long run I know it will be great - it's just the immediacy of the situation that's difficult to deal with.

I was so pleased to meet you last night at Jodi's reception in Franenmuth. You and Sara could not have been more kind. So down to earth and friendly, I was the one with the short haircut that you admired. How funny, because I was actually waiting for you to turn around so I could get a good shot of YOUR cool do ! I am so glad that I was able to attend and got many good pics of the evening.
I am thrilled about the new color restoration, that was actually the only question I had for you last night and lo and behold it was answered on the website right before I left the house to meet you. I think it is a fantastic idea to update our colors and keep things fresh and current. I am more than thrilled that some of the in colors made the cut.I have so many that I fell in love with and really hated to see them go.
I love SU and look forward to the future,
Beth
