Phoebe Photos!

I know it’s late (I'm rationalizing staying up this late because I took a nap earlier!), but I just had to get online and share a few photos of our little Phoebe. I’m still not feeling well enough to go see her, but Shalae and Jon have been sending photos via e-mail for me to enjoy.

The doctor told me I need to wait at least 12 hours once my temperature is normal before going to see Phoebe (or her family, for that matter). I have NEVER taken my temperature so many times in a day! And I’m grateful to say that it was lower today than yesterday.

You’ll think I’m silly, but I had a friend buy me a second thermometer today just to be sure I was getting an accurate reading. Pretty desperate, huh? Unfortunately, the reading wasn't any different! I’m just so excited to start my week of staying with the Browns—something I promise the girls I’ll do after each child is born. Maybe soon…

Ashton (older) and Cooper love their baby sister and want to know if she can play trains with them or if she can nap on the playset (maybe the slide???) while they play outside. Shalae tells them that the day will come, but for now they need to be happy just holding her. I know I'm happy seeing these pictures!

I'm off to bed now, but you can bet I'll share more photos soon. . . .

Wow! Those are some awesome photos! Did the son in law take those? Such a beautiful baby... beautiful children all around. Congratulations, Shelli! I sure hope you feel better soon so that you can go help momma and hug babies to your heart's content.

These pictures are darling! I can just see the scrapbook pages that will be done! The love in those boys eyes is just heartbreaking! I wonder how long that will last!? LOL When she gets older and gets into their toys or follows them around while they are with their friends. But, I bet they will be VERY protective of her! It's always good to have older brothers! They make you tough and they look out for you, whether or not you want them to! :-) You are so lucky to have such wonderful grandkids! I can't wait to have some myself!

She is so pretty! She looks a bit like you I think! I was wondering what kind of camera was used to take the photos. They are so wonderfully clear, yet soft looking. Do you know if a special filter was used, or if this is just a really nice camera? I think picture taking tips and good cameras are always helpful to get the best shots to preserve our memories with. Thanks, and congratulations to you and your family!

oh one more thing Shalae is going to have the best time dressing her up it is so much fun having a little girl around because of all the foo fooness she can do with her. Unlike the boys where they have to actually look like boys, huh? Have fun and CONGRATS to all of you.

After I ooohhhh'd and aaaahhhhh'd over the picture of Phoebe and thought back to when my baby girl (who is now 17!!) was a baby I scrolled down and oooohhhh'd and aaaahhhh'd over the pictures of her big brothers with her. That is going to be one protected little girl (and a little tough I suspect)! I thought that first picture was precious but when it came to Phoebe and Cooper.....PRECIOUS!! Those pictures make me want to hop on the next plane to visit so I'm sending extra special wishes that you get well in a hurry so you can get your arms around that sweet baby girl and her big brothers for a week! :c)

Shelli
Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures of your beautiful grandchildren.Phoebe is gorgeous but those brothers are so photogenic and I love the photography! The expressions and the gentleness of the boys looking at their little sister makes me remember when my son was born and his sister was so curious about him. I especially love the last picture. I can see beautiful pages from these great pictures. They would look lovely in the new Catalog in January! I so enjoy looking at them.
I do hope your illness passes and you are very helpful during your visit to the Brown's next week. I know Shalae must be so proud and will appreciate the help and love you can give both her and the new baby. What a treasure you have in your family. So awesome is our God and he has blessed you greatly.
Much love to you and yours

Phoebe is so ADORABLE!!! I just loved those photos. These pictures remind me of when we brought our daughter home to meet her brothers for the first time. The expressions of awe on their faces look just like my sons did.
I sure hope you are feeling better real soon and can soon get all those kisses and cuddles in with baby Phoebe.

She's adorable!! Get feeling better, I've heard stamping works better than chicken soup. Perhaps you should give it a try. ;)
